Clovely Estate is located
13 km south-east of Murgon on Steinhardts
Road. Clovely's vineyards were established in 1997 and are the
largest
in the South Burnett, covering 174ha (430 acres). Clovely Estate is owned
by the
Heading family who've been farming in the South Burnett for
more than a century.
Clovely Estate grows Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Semillon
and Verdelho grapes. The Estate also grows smaller quantities of Barbera,
Grenache, Mourvèdre, Nebbiolo, Petit Verdot and Sangiovese and is
currently carrying out small trial plantings of a number of other alternate
grape varieties.
With both straight and blended bottlings of the above mentioned varieties,
Clovely also has a Reserve Sparkling Brut available; a Sparkling Shiraz;
two fortified wines; Tawny and Liqueur Cabernet Sauvignon; a Botrytis Semillon
dessert wine and their flagship wine; Double Pruned Shiraz. Clovely also
has their own winery which crushes up to 1600 tonnes per annum for
their own brand and also produces wines under contract for many other companies
under the expert hands of multi-award winning winemakers Luke
Fitzpatrick and Kieran Carney.

Wally Pesudovs and is open for tastings between 10:00am and
