Kingsley Grove Estate - a combined vineyard and winery - was established
and Pat Berry
in 1998. Their son Simon
winemaker and he's won many awards over the years. The Estate is located
from the centre of Kingaroy on the main road to the Bunya Mountains
The Estate has 9 hectares of vines (around 22 acres) and currently
produces 5 red and 6 white grape varieties on a range of soils. The principal
grape varieties grown are cabernet sauvignon, chambourcin, chardonnay, merlot,
sangiovese, semillion, shiraz, viognier and verdelho. Several of these varieties were
pioneered in the South Burnett on the Estate's vineyards.
Kingsley Grove craft 18 different wines from these varieties including
red and white sparkling wines as well as sweet, dry and fortified releases.
All wines are made from grapes grown and harvested on the property (in the
estate tradition) using Kingsley Grove's modern winery.
Kingsley Grove's cellar door is open for tastings from 10:00am to
Cellar door visitors can also get to see the Estate's winemaking and
storage facilities if they wish, and groups can be accommodated with
special activities in the vineyard and the winery by pre-arrangement. Kingsley

In addition to their cellar door and website, Kingsley Grove's wines can
also be sampled at Taste South Burnett, can be
purchased online and obtained at selected Kingaroy and South Burnett restaurants/motels.
They attend food and wine festivals in Kingaroy, Hampton, Toowoomba, Maryborough,
the Gold Coast and Brisbane. They also regularly attend local markets in the
Bunya Mountains, Nanango and Wondai and can be found at Mulanah Gardens on the
first Sunday of the month.
