One of the South Burnett's leading wineries and cellar doors, Clovely Estate, is bringing the long lazy lunch back to Saturday afternoons. The next lunch is this weekend Saturday 28th November, then on 25th December and in January on Saturday the 29th.

On the last Saturday of each month, Clovely Estate in Moffatdale, 10 minutes drive from Murgon, will host a relaxing afternoon of food, wine and entertainment, surrounded by the lush grapevines that produce their signature vintages.

'The Long Lazy Lunch' features a gourmet barbecue lunch, accompanied by wines from Clovely Estate's extensive range, including highly-decorated reds and whites. Entertainment for both adults and children provides a wonderful atmosphere, ensuring a perfect day out for the whole family.

Clovely Estate Wines has won several awards for their contemporary rustic-style cellar door and modern winery operation, including the 2004 Fraser Coast South Burnett Tourism Award for Excellence in the Wineries category. It
is a proud participant in the South Burnett Wine Trail, stretching from Nanango to Murgon.

For visitors wanting to make the most of 'The Long Lazy Lunch', Clovely Estate offers delightful cottage-style accommodation, or accommodation is available at other nearby wineries. Clovely Estate is just two hours from the Sunshine Coast and a comfortable three hours from Brisbane.

Join 'The Long Lazy Lunch' on the last Saturday of each month, from 1.00pm - 5.00pm at Clovely Estate, 91 Steinhardts Road, Moffatdale - follow the Barambah Wine Trail signs from the Bunya Highway to Bjelke-Petersen Dam, with Moffatdale just a kilometre past the dam turn-off.
