The South Burnett Wine Trail runs from
Nanango at the southern end of the
South Burnett's designated wine region through to
Moffatdale at the northern
end. The South Burnett Wine Trail is 200km from Brisbane, 150km from Toowoomba,
175km from Noosa and 145km from Maryborough.
You can find out more about each of the South Burnett Wine Trail's wineries and
cellar doors by clicking the blue dots on the map above.
The South Burnett Wine Trail is made up of two components: the
northern area (which is
based around Moffatdale) and the southern area which is based
around Kingaroy and Nanango.
Both sections can be reached by following the Burnett Highway (to the east) or the
Bunya Highway (to the west). Taken together, both highways form an easy-to-drive circuit
that's popular with both tourists and bus companies.
