Two important things will be happening on
Saturday 21st August: the 2010 Federal election and second annual
Vine Dining at Moffatdale. So get to the polling booth early and then get to
Clovely Estate,
Barambah Wines or
Bridgeman Downs to see whether the team you voted for won or lost.
This year, Vine Dining will be showcasing
regional foods and
wines. Expert chefs will be preparing delicious, entree-sized main meals and desserts at each of the wineries, all of them matched to each winery's best wines. There'll also be
live entertainment at each venue and a
free shuttle bus will be running between all the Vine Dining wineries so you can sample what's on offer at each one.
Vine Dining will run from
10:00am to
5:00pm and admission is just $10. This entitles you to a Vine Dining wine glass, your first wine of the day and your Shuttle Bus pass. After this, you can buy wines for $5 a glass as you go, or buy a bottle to share amongst friends.
Top chefs will be offering different
$18 mains and
$10 desserts at all three venues between
11:00am and
3:00pm, and the live entertainment will be playing all day as well. Vine Dining is a
really great early Spring day out, and you can find out more on the
Vine Dining website.
